Ontario reporting 1,508 new cases of COVID-19, 42 in Halton

Ontario is reporting 1,508 new cases of COVID-19 today (Mar. 17), 42 of which have been reported in Halton.

Today (Mar. 17), Burlington has recorded 9 new cases while Oakville has 11.

Milton has recorded 22 new cases while Halton Hills has 0.

A total of 9,689 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 199 people have passed away.

There are currently 267 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 21 confirmed variant cases of concern in Halton.

A total of 49,128 tests have been completed in the last 24 hours.
