Part of the QEW remains closed in Oakville following a fatal collision.
Part of the QEW remains closed in Oakville following a fatal collision.
According to OPP, the collision occurred on the QEW Toronto-bound at Trafalgar in Oakville yesterday evening (Aug. 22).
Initially, all lanes and the on-ramp were blocked as a result of the collision and a tractor-trailer fire.
Now, OPP and Halton Police say that the QEW (eastbound) Toronto-bound lanes remain closed at Trafalgar due to the collision.
OPP say that the collision was fatal.
Halton Police are advising people to plan their travel routes accordingly.
