Service work to be carried out in Burlington will cause some disruptions for both pedestrians and motorists.

The work is being done by Rogers Communications to upgrade infrastructure in the downtown core.

Work will begin on March 18 and last for about a month.

The work will mean short-term sidewalk closures and lane restrictions on James Street, Pearl Street, Ontario Street and Locust Street

Meanwhile, ongoing work in other parts of Burlington will also mean lane restrictions. This includes Waterdown Road from Craven Avenue to Mountain Brow Road. This work will continue until December of this year.
