Halton police are releasing images of two Oakville robbery suspects in the hopes it will help identify them.

“This investigation is ongoing and police are encouraging the assistance of the public,” reads a news release issued Thursday.

The pair remain on the run after a convenience store was held up at knifepoint.

The incident took place on Feb. 2 at 10 p.m.

That’s when a pair of masked males entered the Hasty Market at 2828 Kingsway Dr., approaching the employee behind the counter.

One of the suspects was armed with a small knife, Halton police allege, and the duo demanded cash, cigarettes and cigars.

The employee complied and they made off with cash and various cartons of cigarettes.

The suspects fled the gas station and were last seen running northbound toward Kingsway Dr.

No one was injured as a result of this incident, say investigators.

Here are the suspect descriptions:

The first suspect is described as heavy-set, standing 6-feet. He was wearing a dark grey hoodie with a small red scarf around his neck, dark track pants with a thick white stripe down the side, beige ankle-high work boots, and a black and white mask

The second suspect is slender. He was wearing all black, including a hoodie.
