The Toronto Raptors hype has not died down in Burlington, and across the country, ever since it was announced that the beloved team made it to the NBA Finals.

And it doesn’t look like the hype will be dying down anytime soon.

On May 30, 2019, many people gathered to Burlington’s Civic Square to watch the first game of the finals. The Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors 118 – 109.

And this past weekend was no different.

Again, many people gathered to the city’s Civic Square on June 2 to watch game two of the finals.

Here’s what Burlington’s Civic Square looked like yesterday.

Sadly, the Raptors lost to the Warriors 109 – 104.

However, the fight isn’t over.

Game three takes place on June 5.

And the city of Burlington recently confirmed that there will be public viewings for fans to attend throughout the entire NBA Finals series.

The viewing party for game three will be held at Central Park Bandshell at 8:30 p.m.
