Plenty of events in Milton to celebrate upcoming National Youth Week

The Town of Milton has several events scheduled to celebrate the upcoming National Youth Week.

From May 1 to 7, the Town is working in collaboration with the Milton Youth Task Force (MYTF) to host a variety of events and activities aimed at celebrating and connecting youth.

Here are some of the Youth Week activities scheduled:

Tuesday, May 2

• Youth Try The Track, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre. Registration is required, use promo code: Youthweek100. Participants are asked to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance of the class in order to obtain their rental bike.

Thursday, May 4

• Milton Youth Awards Ceremony (Invitation Only), 6 to 9 p.m. at the Milton Seniors’ Activity Centre

Saturday, May 6

• Milton Youth Task Force Market, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Milton Community Park
• Youth Basketball Tournament, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Milton Community Park Basketball Courts. Registration is required and participants can sign up under Youth 3 on 3 Tournament individuals or teams.
• Milton Youth Task Force Market: Music in the Park, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Milton Community Park gazebo

Sunday, May 7

• Milton Community Park Clean Up, 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Milton Community Park
