Police asking Georgetown residents on Early St. to shelter in their homes

Halton police are currently involved in an active situation on Early St. in Georgetown.
As a result, police are asking all residents of Early St. to shelter in place while they work to resolve the situation.
Police say the situation is contained to one home and that officers will knock on the doors of homes in the immediate vicinity.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
