UPDATE: Police concerned for missing man from Oakville last seen driving his car

UPDATE: Halton police are thanking the public for their help. Beckford has been found safe and is doing well.


There is growing concern for a man from Oakville who went missing four days ago.

Halton Regional Police are seeking the public’s help in finding 30-year-old Beckford, who was last seen around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 24).

Police say, Beckford was last seen driving his car in the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Winston Park Drive.

Beckford is described as being 5-foot-10 in height with an athletic build. He has black shoulder-length dreadlocks and a beard.

Beckford was wearing a dark grey sweatshirt and black sweatpants, at the time of his disappearance.

Additionally, he is believed to be driving a blue Nissan Quest with the license plate AMPJ655.

Authorities are concerned for his well-being and urge anyone with information to come forward.
