Police Hunting Armed Oakville Bank Robbery Suspect

Police dogs and tactical officers are hunting an armed suspect following a bank robbery in Oakville on Monday.

Halton police were sent to the CIBC at Speers Rd. and Fourth Line at 1:45 p.m.

The suspect was masked and carrying a long gun when he entered the branch, say police.

He left with cash.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect fled in an older grey Dodge Caravan, which was last seen travelling northbound on Fourth Line.

He’s described as standing six-feet with a thin build. The man was wearing baggy black pants with two white stripes, a blue sweater, a black mask, carrying a red GoodLife Fitness gym bag.
