Police Investigating After Altercation Leads to Stabbing in Oakville

Officers are currently investigating a recent stabbing in Oakville.

The incident, which took place in the parking lot of the Swiss Chalet on Cross Avenue, happened around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, August 22.

“The victim and two unknown suspects got into a verbal altercation while driving in the area of Trafalgar Road and Queen Elizabeth Way in Oakville,” police say. “The unknown suspects followed the victim to the above location.”

One of the suspects allegedly exited their vehicle and continued the altercation with the victim, and the victim was subsequently stabbed in the back.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described as a brown male with a heavy build and dark hair. The second suspect is described as a brown male in his 20s with a thin build and dark hair.
