Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Freedom Mobile in Burlington

Halton Police are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the City of Burlington.

According to police, this incident took place at a Freedom Mobile store located on Upper Middle Road.

On Tuesday April 23, 2019 at approximately 5:20 p.m., according to police, three male suspects entered the store and confronted a staff member who was working the store front.   

Police say the staff member was threatened with a knife before a quantity of cell phones and cash was stolen.   

The staff member did not sustain any physical injuries.

The three suspects fled the scene in a dark coloured 4-door sedan. 

The first suspect is described as someone who is around 5’9″ – 5’10” and in his 20s. Police say the suspect was wearing all black clothing and a mask.

The second suspect is described as someone who is around 5’7″ – 5’8”. Police say the suspect was wearing jeans, a hoodie, and a black mask.

No description of the third suspect was provided.
