Police are on scene following a hit and run collision in Milton.

Halton police say there’s a heavy police presence in the James Snow Parkway and Main St. E. area.

Halton police say there’s a heavy police presence in the James Snow Parkway and Main St. E. area.

Police say a male party, who may be armed, was reportedly involved in a hit and run collision.

Police say the suspect has been located and arrested without incident.

The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE:

Police say the vehicle allegedly involved in the hit and run had been reported as stolen.

Police also say the suspect is being investigated in connection with a theft incident at a store.

Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives are now investigating.
