Halton Regional Police have reported that they are currently on scene at a fire in Oakville.

Police reported around 10:45 p.m. tonight that officers and the Oakville Fire Department are at a fire on Old Bronte Road. 

Unconfirmed reports say that there was a trailer/barn with explosions just south of Highway 407, and that mutual aid tankers are en route from Burlington, and requested from Milton to assist.

Traffic in the area of Bronte Road and Dundas Street may be affected by the fire.

Drivers may want to avoid the area.
