Police are responding to a mental health-related call in Oakville.
Police are responding to a mental health-related call in Oakville.
Halton police say officers were called to assist with an incident at a residence on Rockingham Dr. involving an individual who is in crisis.
Police say the situation is contained to the residence and there is no broader public safety threat at this time.
“Expect an ongoing heavy police presence,” police say.

Police say the situation has been resolved and the individual is now in custody.
“Expect an ongoing short-term police presence. Thank you to area residents for their patience while we worked to resolve this incident safely,” police say.
