Police request the public’s help in locating a man in Oakville.

John Bird, 75, was last seen at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of Lakeshore Road and East Street.

John Bird, 75, was last seen at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of Lakeshore Road and East Street.

Bird is described as 5’3 with a thin build, grey hair, and grey beard. He has a Scottish accent, frequents the Bronte area, and will be on foot.

UPDATE: At 7:08 p.m., police reported that Bird was located in good health.
