Police are searching for a missing Oakville teen.

Police are searching for a missing Oakville teen.

According to police, Andres Vargas was last seen at approximately 10:50 a.m. on Feb. 9, 2019 in the area of Third Line and Upper Middle Road in Oakville.  

Police are describing Vargas as a white, 19-year-old male. Police say he is six feet tall and 165 lbs. Vargas, according to police, has a slim build with dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a dark winter jacket with a grey hoodie underneath, black track pants, brown shoes, and was also wearing a dark back pack.

Family members are becoming increasingly concerned for Vargas’ well-being and have not spoken with him since Feb. 13.  

Vargas does not have access to a vehicle.  

Police say Vargas may be in the company of an unknown white male with a goatee believed to be in his 30s.  

The unknown male is described as someone who is six foot and has an average build. The male, according to police, was seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants, white shoes, along with a red back pack.

UPDATE: According to Halton Police, Vargas has been located in good health.
