Police Seek Suspected Baby Formula Thieves in Oakville

A pair of suspects are being sought by Halton police in connection with the theft of baby formula from a big-box store in Oakville.

A pair of suspects are being sought by Halton police in connection with the theft of baby formula from a big-box store in Oakville.

The incident took place on Feb. 8 at the Hays Blvd. Walmart at 11:30 a.m.

The suspects selected baby formula and a suitcase then hid the items inside, investigators allege.

They then left the store without making any attempt to pay for any of the items, said Halton police Const. Naresh Dabas.

The items are worth $500 total, with the suitcase priced at $89.99.

“They got away in a silver Honda Accord,” said Dabas.

The first suspect is an Asian male in his mid-50s, standing 5-foot-10, weighing 180 pounds. He had greying hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a black Under Armour jacket with grey sleeves.

The second suspect is an Asian female in her mid-30s, standing 5-foot-4, weighing 130 pounds. The woman had black hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a black jacket, black hat with a pom pom, and carrying a purse.
