Police Seeking Suspect Following Shoplifting Incident at LCBO in Burlington

Halton Police are searching for one suspect following a shoplifting incident that occurred at an LCBO in Burlington.

Halton Police are searching for one suspect following a shoplifting incident that occurred at an LCBO in Burlington.

According to police, on March 13, 2019, at 8:25 p.m., a male suspect went to the LCBO located at 3365 Fairview St. 

Police allege that the suspect walked quickly into the store and grabbed two Grand Marnier bottles and headed to the back of the store. 

According to police, the suspect then grabbed four more bottles of wine and champagne and concealed them in his knapsack and headed toward the exit. 

Just before exiting the store, according to police, the suspect grabbed two more bottles of Russian Vodka.

Police allege that the suspect then exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.

The male suspect is described as someone who is in his late 30s, around 175 cm, and 70 kgs. Police say the suspect has short black hair, and is shaved around the ears, and a trimmed beard/goatee. According to police, the suspect was wearing a black jacket, hiking boots, and beige pants and backpack.
