Police seeking to identify suspects in Milton armed robbery

Halton police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify suspects in an armed robbery that took place in Milton.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) say they responded to an armed robbery call at Zak’s Pharmacy located at 70 Main St. E. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, just before 7:30 p.m.

Police say that reports indicated that two suspects had entered the pharmacy between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and spoke with a staff member.

The suspects then left the pharmacy and returned to commit the robbery at 7:23 p.m., according to police.

Police say the suspects indicated that they had a gun and demanded prescription drugs. The suspects then ransacked the pharmacy and assaulted an employee before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs, according to police.

The victim did not require medical attention as a result of the assault, police say.

A search for the suspects including the use of a K9 Unit yielded negative results.

The first suspect is described as male, Black, 6’ tall, has a thin mustache and was wearing black pants and carrying a black backpack.

The second suspect is described as male, White, between 5’9”-5’10” tall, has pale skin, blue eyes, blonde hair and was wearing either a blue or white jacket.

Police are asking anyone that may have witnessed the incident or may have dash-cam or CCTV footage of the following times/areas to contact investigators at 905-825-4777 ext 2450.

  • Main St. between Martin St. and Bronte St. between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Martin St. to Hwy 401 between 7:20 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.
