Thousands are without power in Burlington.
Currently, 3,706 homes and businesses are without power in southeast Burlington due to a tree that fell on some hydro lines.

Currently, 3,706 homes and businesses are without power in southeast Burlington due to a tree that fell on some hydro lines.
Crews are working on fixing the problem, and the estimated time for power to be fully restored is 5:30 p.m.

UPDATE: In addition to removing the tree limb from the primary powerline, a customer’s gazebo has now blown on to the same line, Burlington Hydro reports.
The new estimated time for power to be restored is 6:45 p.m.
