Power Outage Caused by Fallen Tree in Burlington

Some Burlington residents may be finding themselves without power after an incident this afternoon.
Some Burlington residents may be finding themselves without power after an incident this afternoon.
Halton Police confirmed that an outage in the area of Maple Avenue and North Shore Boulevard East was caused by a tree that fell over and crashed onto power lines on Bellview Street.
It’s currently unknown why the tree fell. Police are contacting Burlington Hydro to resolve the situation.
We’ll update with any further info.
