Quebec trio nabbed with ‘master’ auto keys in custody after trying to flee from police in Whitby

Three suspects from Quebec caught with automobile master keys are facing a combined 15 charges after attempting to flee from police.

Central West Division officers were “proactively” patrolling the area of Consumers Drive and Hopkins Street in Whitby Wednesday morning when they came across a vehicle they deemed “suspicious.”

A traffic stop was attempted but the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed and travelled south until it was boxed in at a dead-end street. Police say the vehicle “made contact” with a cruiser before the three suspects fled on foot. A short foot pursuit later all three were taken into custody.

Adnane Kidia, 19, is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle; fail to stop for police; conspiracy to commit an indictable offence; possession of automobile master key; possess property obtained by crime over $5,000 and fail to comply with release order.

Samy Mahamed, 20, is charged with possess property obtained by crime over $5,000; possession of automobile master key; conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and fail to comply with release order.

Dariush Kabirinaeini, 20, is charged with three counts of fail to comply with release order; possess property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of automobile master key.

All three are Quebec residents and all three were held for bail hearings.
