Rain, moderate temperatures expected this week in Burlington, Milton, Oakville

A mostly rainy and not-too-hot week is in store for residents of Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills.

The Environment Canada forecast sees showers today, tomorrow, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with the temperature peaking at 24-C every day except Wednesday, which is likely to be the most summery day of the week, sunny and 28-C.

The rest of today, Monday, Aug. 7, will see showers with a risk of thunderstorm, high of 25 and overnight low of 16.

Tuesday will see overnight showers ending in the morning before possibly returning later, high of 24, low of 16.

Wednesday will be sunny, high of 28 Clouds will roll in overnight with a low of 17.

Thursday is a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers, high 24, low 14.

Friday will see a mix of sun and cloud, high 24. Showers will roll in overnight with a low of 16.

Both Saturday and Sunday will see 30 per cent chance of showers with a high of 24 and low of 16.
