Police said around 4:10 p.m. that high winds have snapped a telephone pole at the northwest corner of Dundas and Ninth Line.
The cables are currently dangling over the road, police say.
No injuries have been reported.

The southbound lanes on Ninth Lane are closed for the time being.
Police estimate that repairs will take one hour.
