Here are some road closures and parking restrictions you should be aware of during Oakville’s tree lighting ceremonies.
Downtown BIA Tree Lighting:
Friday, Nov. 16, 7 – 9 p.m.

Road closures:
- George Street between Church and Lakeshore from 2 p.m. on Nov. 16 until 11 a.m. Nov. 17.
- Lakeshore Road between Thomas and Dunn from 6 – 9 p.m. on Nov. 16.
Parking restrictions:
- No parking on Lakeshore Road between Thomas and Dunn after 6 p.m. on Nov. 16.
- No parking on George between Lakeshore and Church as of 2 p.m. on Nov. 16.
Kerr BIA Tree Lighting:
Friday, Nov. 30, 5 – 9 p.m.
Road closures:
- Kerr Street closed between Washington and Florence from 2:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Nov. 30.
Parking restrictions:
- No parking on Kerr Street between Florence and Washington after 2 p.m. on Nov. 30.
