Some $10,000 worth of property was taken from an Oakville private school after an overnight break-in earlier this week.

The break-in at MacLachlan College, located at 337 Trafalgar Rd., is the second in less than a month.

Halton Regional Police say the most recent break-in occurred overnight between Tuesday (Oct. 3) and Wednesday (Oct. 4), with someone smashing a window on the main floor to gain entry.

It’s believed that cameras, lenses and four iPads were taken before the person or persons fled the scene.

A similar overnight break-in occurred at the private school between Sept. 15 and Sept. 16 where a window was smashed, and iPad stolen.

Anyone with information regarding either of the break-ins is asked to call Halton police at 905-825-4747.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca.
