Around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon (September 3), Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Halton, particularly in Burlington and Oakville.
“Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions,” the statement reads.
Environment Canada will continue to monitor the situation and issue further statements as necesary.
