Some Halton Hills residents are experiencing telephone service outages.
Some Halton Hills residents are experiencing telephone service outages.
According to the Halton Hills Fire Department Twitter page, Bell has notified the Halton Hills Fire Department that many Georgetown residents are experiencing an outage to telephone services.
These outages have been impacting the ability to dial 911 from landlines.
Mobile phones are not affected by this outage.

The cause of these outages has not yet been released.

UPDATE (Dec. 6, 3:59 p.m.): According to Halton Police, this outage is a result of a damaged cable. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
