One suspect has been arrested after stealing the tip jar from Tamp Coffee Co., in Burlington.
The incident occurred at the coffee shop’s Brant Street location (480 Brant St.).

The incident occurred at the coffee shop’s Brant Street location (480 Brant St.).
Tamp Coffee took to Twitter on June 24, 2019, seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect who came into the shop at around 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019.

Tamp Coffee said that the suspect stole the entire tip jar under his sweater.

Now, according to Halton Police, one suspect has been arrested and is facing charges in relation to this incident.
Police say the suspect was recognized in another downtown restaurant.
According to police, the suspect is facing a number of alleged charges: fail to comply with probation, and three counts of theft under $5,000.
