What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than with sweet treats and a chance to win a shopping spree at Oakville Place.

The Oakville Butter Tart Festival returns to Oakville Place (outdoors) on Saturday, May 13 2023 and there’s a special Mother’s Day twist this year.

“Everyone that purchases a butter tart will automatically be entered into a draw to win a $250 shopping spree for Mother’s Day courtesy of Oakville Place,” said Sweet Sensations, Butter Tarts and More Market organizer Helena Prucha.

The popular event allows butter tart lovers to purchase a wide variety of Ontario’s famous butter tarts along with other sweet treats from a wide variety of vendors and bakers from across the Greater Toronto Area.

Shoppers can also browse a local artisan market.

“We have over 60 vendors ready to showcase their butter tarts, baked goods, sweet treats, and merchandise at our marketplace,” said Prucha.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Oakville Place, located on 240 Leighland Ave.

Admission to the event is free.

“Perfect timing to celebrate Mother’s Day,” added Prucha. “Send her an invite.”

The event is hosted by Gotta Luv Butter Tarts Events.
