Teen Caught Driving Mom’s Car at Ridiculous Speed in Milton

A teen has some explaining to do after he was nabbed going 72 km over the limit while driving his mom’s car in Milton.

Halton police say an 18-year-old driver was clocked at 132 km in a 60 km/h zone along Trafalgar Rd., south of Britannia Rd., at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The teen was driving a Honda Civic, said Sgt. Barry Malciw.

The boy is facing stunt driving and speeding charges.

In addition, the Civic was towed and seized for seven days.

The teen’s licence is suspended for one week.
