Teens charged after armed robberies at Tim Hortons and Dominos: Halton Police

Halton Police have made arrests in connection with a pair of armed robberies in Georgetown.

Halton Police have made arrests in connection with a pair of armed robberies in Georgetown.

The incidents occurred at the Tim Hortons at 11 Mountainview Rd N. on Dec. 27, 2019, as well as the Domino’s Pizza located at 324 Guelph St.

In both incidents “a black handgun” was observed, according to police.

A 19-year-old male from Georgetown is facing charges of:

  • Robbery (x2)
  • Disguise with Intent (x2)
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (x2)
  • Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence

Police say they also identified a 15-year-old male from Georgetown as “an involved party to the robbery at the Domino’s Pizza”. The male is facing charges of:

  • Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
  • Public Mischief

Police say the identity of the 19-year-old will not be released by police to protect the identity of the 15-year-old.
