Halton police recently took to social media to remind residents that’s important to keep vehicles locked when unattended.

Police report that thieves targeted unlocked cars on Maryvale Ct., located in the Mountainside Drive and Guelph Line area.

Police also said that thieves targeted unlocked vehicles and used garage door openers to access and steal from garages overnight on Nov. 29 and 30. The areas where the thefts occurred include Mullin Way and Scott Court. 

The thefts on Maryvale reportedly took place at night from Nov. 30 to Dec. 1. 

Residents are being asked to remove important or valuable belongings from their vehicles and ensure doors are locked.

Anyone who notices suspicious activity is asked to call police.
