This Entertaining Festival is Returning to Burlington Soon

An exciting and entertaining festival is returning to the city of Burlington soon.

An exciting and entertaining festival is returning to the city of Burlington soon.

The city recently announced that the Burlington Kite Festival, presented by the Rocca Sisters Team, is taking place on Sunday, June 2, 2019.

The festival will be held at the Brant Hills Community Centre (2255 Brant St.) and the Brant Hills Park (2300 Duncaster Dr.) and will run from 12 to 4 p.m.

A number of free events will be held, which are as follows.

12 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Kite building while supplies last
12 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Face painting with Beebop the clown
12 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Balloon animals
12 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Curiosity cube (mobile science lab)
12 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Climb the rock wall (outside only)
12 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Chix on Stix – Stilt walkers

Anyone who plans to attend the festival is welcome to build or bring their own kite to fly. 

In addition, there will also be a variety of food vendors and community display booths in attendance.
