This is Exciting Festival is Returning to Milton Soon

If you love movies then you'll be excited to hear about an event that is coming up in the Town of Milton.

The Milton Film Festival is coming back to town.

This year, the festival will be taking place from Jan. 25 to Jan. 27.

This is the sixth year of the festival. It will be held at the FirstOntarioArts Centre Milton (formerly known as the Milton Centre for the Arts).

This film festival is in partnership with the TIFF Film Circuit Program and, according to the official Milton Film Festival website, brings the best of international, Canadian, and local films to Milton residents (and movie lovers who travel to the event).

"In addition to eight critically acclaimed feature films from Canada and around the world, the festival will once again be showing a selection of short films by local and regional filmmakers, as well as hosting discussion panels with filmmakers and film academics," reads the official Milton Film Festival website.

A few of the feature films that will be presented this year include Colette, The Rider, Black '47, and Adventures in Public School.

A few of the short films that will be presented include The Sunset Chanel, Hard Learning, Royal Blood, and GPS.

Indira Naidoo-Harris, a long-time supporter of the festival and former journalist, will be hosting and MCing the event this year.
