This Popular Burlington Restaurant Recently Closed its Doors

It’s always sad to see restaurants close down, and unfortunately a popular restaurant in Burlington recently closed its doors.

Barque Smokehouse took to their Instagram page in February of this year to announce that their Burlington location (4155 Fairview St.) would be closing.

We cannot begin to express our thanks to all of those that have supported us over the past two years,” reads the Instagram post. “It’s been an incredible ride and we are happy to have enmeshed ourselves, through BBQ, into the wonderful communities found within the City of Burlington and the region of Halton.”

Barque officially closed on Sunday, March 3, 2019, after dinner.

To our guests and friends: Regretfully, Barque Smokehouse at 4155 Fairview St in Burlington will be closing permanently after dinner on Sunday, March 3, 2019. We cannot begin to express our thanks to all of those that have supported us over the past two years. It’s been an incredible ride and we are happy to have enmeshed ourselves, through BBQ, into the wonderful communities found within the City of Burlington and the region of Halton. In the meantime, we are committed to providing the same high quality service and BBQ until our doors are closed. We hope to see you all one last time before then. Reservations are greatly appreciated during this time.As the saying goes, “when one door closes, another opens” and this cannot be more true for restaurants. We love the area and are looking for a more intimate space to serve you soon. Stay tuned for exciting developments with Barque in 2019.
