Three People Arrested Following Evening Break-in Spree in Oakville

Police say three people are facing charges in connection with what officers are calling an evening break and enter crime spree. 

Police say three people are facing charges in connection with what officers are calling an evening break and enter crime spree. 

Halton police say that on September 19, 2018, officers were called to the Pilgrims Way and Glen Abbey Gate area to respond to reports of three suspicious individuals.  

Police say they located 21-year-old Daniel Wojtuszewski, 19-year-old Jean Trikhin and a young person who cannot be named.  

Police allege that while the responding officers spoke to the three individuals, police began receiving reports of several break-ins and attempted break-ins that occurred in the surrounding neighbourhood.

The suspects are alleged to have committed break-ins to residences on Greendale Trail and Monks Passage. They are also alleged to have attempted to break into two garages on Pilgrims Way.

No altercation or injuries occurred during any of the entries.

All three suspects were arrested and later released on promises to appear. 

The suspects are facing a number of charges, including break and enter and attempted break and enter.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.

Police are reminding the public to ensure their vehicles and homes (including garages) are secured at all times.
