Time running out for Oakville students to enter holiday card contest

Oakville students here’s your chance to combine your artistic talents with some holiday spirit and have your work displayed.

Kids entering their original artwork will have a chance to be featured on the Oakville Mayor’s Holiday Card 2021.

Two winning submissions will be chosen – one from the Grade 1 to 5 level and one from the Grade 6 to 8 level.

Instructions:

  • Artwork should be suitable for use on a holiday greeting card and should depict a Christmas scene or event within the Town of Oakville.
  • Each entry must be accompanied by an entry form (copies available online at oakville.ca/mayor) completed and signed by a parent/guardian of the artist. Remember to include contact information including the name and age of the artist.
  • Digital entries must be submitted in the form of a drawing, sketch or painting and be submitted in high resolution

Acceptable materials include paper or canvas.

All finished artwork must be accompanied with a signed entry for and signed consent form. They can be submitted via email to [email protected] and must be received prior to the submission deadline.

Time is running out as the deadline for the art work is Wednesday (Dec. 15) at 11:59 p.m.
