Top 5 Hottest Restaurants in Oakville, Burlington, and Milton: December 29 - January 4

Here are the 5 hottest restaurants in Burlington, Milton, and Oakville for the week of Dec 29 to January 4, based on the number of organic page views and searches these restaurants received on inhalton.com.

5. Pho Mi 89

(Oakville)

There may be quite a few locations across the GTA, but don’t let that fool you, each location has some specialty items that the others don’t. While this may be tricky when going from location to location, it does help make each location a little bit unique - and unique is refreshing. The satay got me again here, but it was done very differently than any other satay pho I’ve had. This was one of the most flavourful phos I’ve ever come across and if I’m ever in the area, it’ll be a no-brainer for me to go back and have another. Pineapples in the dish help to offset the nodes of spice, but the heat here is not overwhelming at all. It’s a flavourful heat that blends with the soup perfectly. When you bite into a spring onion, the flavour profile changes yet again. Oakville, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

4: Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House

(Burlington)

Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is a family breakfast and lunch chain consisting of home-cooked dishes.

The vast menu options range from sandwiches to waffles, but it's the specialty pancakes that make Stacked stand out. Some of their creations include New York Strawberry Cheesecake, Banana Caramel, and Double Chocolate Turtles.

4. Sushi-Ya Japan

(Milton)

Sushi-Ya Japan is a small restaurant serving up big taste in a prime location: downtown Milton. You'll find it just off of Main St., along Martin. You'll see men in suits, depending on the time of day, talking business over maki. Or there may be solo diners who need to get their sushi on, solo. Here you'll find a relaxed spot serving up rolls, teriyaki, noodle dishes, plus Korean specialties (and you may overhear them speaking Korean in the kitchen). Start with miso soup or salad (with miso dressing) and edamame, then fill yourself up on a salmon or tuna combination. It's equal parts simple and delicious. It's a perfect place to eat healthy and stay trendy. This is a classic hidden gem. You're welcome!

2: Oliver’s Steakhouse

(Oakville)

Easily one of the best restaurants in Ontario.- and even Canada, Oliver’s offers a phenomenal fine dining experience and is going strong after four decades. The menu features the best of the best: USDA Prime steaks, fresh seafood, and an extensive wine list. This is some next-level fine dining, minus the white tablecloths … even the ice cream is made in-house! You’ll find amazing service without the pretentious aura.

1: Hakka Fresh

(Burlington)

When Indian and Chinese spices mix, you get Hakka style cuisine! Decent sized portions, and very flavourful profiles on almost everything on the menu. Whether it’s Chilli Chicken (highly recommended to be had ‘dry’), Garlic Fish, Manchurian style, or a healthy serving of fried rice or chow mein, there’s something for everyone on the menu! If you’re looking to put a twist on your usual Chinese take-out, or if you can’t decide between Chinese or Indian, Hakka Fresh is an option for you!
