Truck Driver Facing Suspension Following Drunk Driving Allegation in Halton

Today (July 3, 2019) patrol officers in Oakville teamed up with the Halton Police Commercial Vehicle Inspection Unit to keep road users safe and secure.

According to police, they were on the lookout for overloaded and unsafe commercial vehicles.

And, according to police, nine truck inspections were completed in Oakville.
Two trucks were taken out of service for safety violations. And police say one driver was given a three day suspension for blowing a warning on an alcohol screening device.
