Two arrested in connection with prescription drug trafficking investigation in Burlington

Police have arrested two people in connection with a prescription drug trafficking investigation in Burlington which began in July 2020.

Police have arrested two people in connection with a prescription drug trafficking investigation in Burlington which began in July 2020.

Halton police say that on July 30, 2020, investigators, with the assistance of the Tactical Rescue and K9 unit, executed a search warrant at a residence Burlington.  As a result of the search, police allegedly located and seized approximately $1,200 worth of prescription drugs, as well as 32 grams of marijuana that was packaged for distribution.  

Police arrested and charged 27-year-old Burlington man Scott Ross and 37-year-old Burlington woman Crystal McMullen with multiple trafficking-related offences. 

The charges have not been proven in court.
