Two Burlington roads will be off-limits to drivers this week

Two roads in Burlington will be closed to traffic for a few days this week so that construction work can be carried out.

Starting tomorrow (Nov.21) at 7 a.m. until Friday (Nov. 24) at 7 p.m., Lakeshore Rd. between Martha St. and Pearl St. will be closed for a crane hoisting in the area. All traffic will be detoured onto Old Lakeshore Rd.

Also on Nov. 21 at 7 a.m. to Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. Inglewood Dr. will be closed to all traffic.

This closure is due to the installation of a storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water system.

Signs will be posted in both areas showing the detour routes.
