Up to 10 cm of snow possible for Halton

More snow is expected to hit Halton today (Feb. 6). 

Environment Canada says a special weather statement is in effect for Halton and Peel (Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, and Halton Hills). 

The weather agency says light snow will continue today, possibly mixed with freezing drizzle.

“Additional light snow will be possible tonight into Friday morning. Total snowfall accumulations in the 5 to 10 cm range are expected for most areas by the time the snow tapers off on Friday.”

Given the timing of the snow, both the morning and evening commutes could be impacted.
