Police have confirmed the identity of a man shot in Oakville.

Police have confirmed the identity of a man shot in Oakville.

Halton police say they responded to a call at around 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 in the area of North Park Blvd. and Sawmill Rd. reporting possible gun shots.

“Upon arrival, emergency services located a lone deceased male in a vehicle,” say police.

The victim has been identified as Dean Costanza, 46, of Oakville.

Costanza was known to police and investigators say they believe this was a targeted shooting.

No suspect information is being released at this time.
