Video: New song by Walk off the Earth again puts Burlington in centre of pop universe

Burlington’s Walk off the Earth have returned to capture your listening attention with a brand new song.

Released last Friday (May 5), whatever again finds the band displaying the ability to craft catchy pop tunes, this time with an uptempo number that encourages the listener to live every moment, especially with the one you love.

“‘Whatever’ is a heartfelt song that expresses a desire to truly live life and make the most of every moment with the one you love. The lyrics reflect a longing to break free from the mundane routine and live in the present. Taking risks and stepping out of your comfort zone can be a daunting task to tackle solo, but with the right person these things can spark joy in its purest form,” said band member Sarah Blackwood about the new release.

Recent winners of their second JUNO Award JUNO Award win for Children’s Album of the Year for Romeo Eats Vol. 2, Walk off the Earth has a knack for garnering attention with much of their content earning viral status with nearly three million followers and a billion views on their TikTok and YouTube platforms and generating airplay in radio markets across North America

As well, in the past couple of years they’ve headlined Red Rocks Amphitheater and Wembley Arena sold out the historic Sydney Opera House, notched a top-10 single in Canada for 30 straight weeks and made it all the way to the top of the Pop Albums chart in the United States.

They’ve also collaborated with artists from all genres including Snoop Dogg, Sarah Silverman, Keith Urban, Steve Aoki, Lukas Graham and many more.
