Burlington residents wanted to see change in their city.

And that’s exactly what they got when they elected a new Mayor, Marianne Meed Ward, in the Oct. 22 municipal election in 2018. During the election, she received 23,360 votes (or 46.04 per cent).

Recently, Khaled Iwamura of inhalton.com sat down with Meed Ward to discuss a slew of subjects including Burlington’s Greenbelt, downtown densification, Doug Ford, Transit, the recent Walk Off The Earth tribute concert and so much more.
