Video: Passenger hangs out of car to take in view of Burlington Skyway over Hamilton

A video posted by the Ontario Provinical Police shows a passenger of a car hanging out of a sunroof as the car travels across the Burlington Skyway.

Posted by the OPP Highway Safety Division this afternoon (March 22) on social media, the person can be seen half-way out of the sunroof as the vehicle heads across the bridge over Hamilton Harbour towards Niagara.

“Sometimes pets will stick their head out the window to smell the fresh air,” the OPP tweet reads. “I would suggest what we see in the video is not a good idea, don’t be this passenger.”

Police say they are looking further into the incident.
