Milton’s annual celebration SummerFest is happening again June 3 and organizers are looking for local volunteers.

The Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA) is hosting the event that takes place in the historic downtown.

Run in partnership with the Town of Milton, many local businesses and organizations participate in this event that features vendors, live music, kids’ activities, patios and lots more.

With high attendance expected for 2023, this family-focused community celebration is an outstanding opportunity to connect with the community and turn the event into a success.

“As a volunteer, you will have an opportunity to meet fascinating people, while you experience how a large-scale event operates in Milton. High School students can also complete their Ontario community service hours,” said a spokesperson for SummerFest.

Volunteer must be at least 16 years old and positions include activity attendant, information booth attendant, entertainment attendant, barricade attendant, green team and logistics volunteer.

If you have any questions, email the volunteer coordinator at [email protected].

For more information or to fill out a volunteer form, visit the DMBIA website.
