Weapons, drugs seized after Halton police searches in Mississauga, Oakville

A large amount of drugs and cash was seized by Halton police during an arrest in Mississauga yesterday.

On Thursday, Jan. 11, officers from the Halton Regional Police’s 1 District Street Crime team executed search warrants in Mississauga and Oakville.

As a result of the warrants, police seized about two kilograms of cocaine, two kilograms of cannabis resin, three kilograms of illicit cannabis, hundreds of oxycodone pills, and seven grams of methamphetamine.

Police also seized $150,000 in cash, and other drug paraphernalia.

Robert Czarnowski, 43, of Mississauga has been charged with several drug trafficking offenses.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
