Where is the Best Place to Shop in Milton?

Well good news, Milton may be your answer.

Let’s take a look at the popular shopping areas in the town to find out which one is best.


Milton Mall

The Milton Mall is managed by Bentall Kennedy, a Sun Life Investment Management company – one of the biggest global real estate advisors. 

This mall is home a huge selection of stores and restaurants including Ako Greek, Ardene, Bentley Luggage, Cora Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant, Dollarama, EB Games, Fashion Studio, Foot Mech, Global Pet Foods, Kevin’s Hamburger House, Koodo, La Chateau, Nails For You, Plato’s Closet, Winners, and more.

The mall is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Although the mall has a wide selection of stores and restaurants to frequent there are some popular ones missing. A few stores that cannot be found in the Milton Mall, but can be found in other areas of Milton, include SportChek, Payless ShoeSource, Subway, and Indigo.

SmartCentres

SmartCentres, formally called SmartCentres Real Estate Investment Trust, is a powerful Canadian real estate provider that has locations all over the country.

According to the SmartCentres website, “With proven expertise in retail development and operation, SmartCentres’ capabilities have grown to include a variety of urban, mixed-use, residential and industrial developments, including a number of master planned communities such as SmartCentres Place at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre in Ontario.”

At the Milton SmartCentres location, shoppers will find a wide selection of stores and food options such as Walmart, Subway, Cogeco, Payless ShoeSource, Staples, Bouclair, Reitmans, Mark’s Work Wearhouse, Canadian Tire, Pita Pit, and The Shoe Company just to name a few.

Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA)

This area was first founded in 1977 with the goal of promoting, and enhancing, downtown Milton as a growing and vibrant business community.

According to the Downtown Milton website more specific goals of this area include, “Beautification, event management, marketing and enhancing relationships with government and community organizations.”

While downtown Milton, shoppers are able to browse through over 170 shops and food choices. Some of these shops and eateries include Total Skin & Body Spa, Bombshell Hair Studio, Shoppers Drug Mart, Milton Health Foods, Ice Cream Lab Bake Shop & Café, Joya Sushi, Pizza 360, WingsUp!, The Shoe Stop, Aiden N Co, Freedom Mobile, West End Smoke Shoppe, just to name a few.
